We said it three times, and now we have received. Fans of the original Beetlejuice film have even more to look forward to now that Michael Keaton, who played the infamous "bio-exorcist" in the first film, has revealed a few delightful details for the upcoming sequel, which, I, personally, am ecstatic about.

"[Burton] and I were talking about it years and years ago, never telling anybody. I said, ‘If it happens, first of all, we’ve both said we’re doing it many times. We both agreed, if it happens, it has to be done as close to the way we made it the first time,'" said Michael.

Tim Burton directed the original 1988 film and is reprising his directorial role for the follow-up.
Michael also shared that, production-wise, there will be “handmade stuff like people creating things with their hands and building something.”

The first film incorporated special effects like stop-motion, prosthetics, and puppetry to bring the undead world and its hijinks to life.
In addition, there will be "improvising" and "riffing," much like the original.
